PROJECT EXAMPLE · FLESHERTON, ONTARIO
CNC plywood parts from our shop.
Custom-cut plywood panels with machined openings and holes. This project example brings together sheet cutting and internal features for parts made to a specific shape.

A CLOSER LOOK
One drawing. All the features.
These panels show the kind of work that sits between a simple rectangular cut and a finished assembly: an outside profile, internal openings and holes that need to be positioned within the same component. A clear drawing lets those features be reviewed together.
- Plywood sheet components
- Shaped internal openings
- Holes and profiles cut to the project design
Preparing plywood parts for a quote
Send a drawing for each part, the plywood specification and thickness, and the number of pieces required. Identify the visible face, grain direction and any areas that fit another part. For a group of components, include quantities by part rather than only a total piece count.
Planning the sheet layout
We use ALPHACAM programming and nesting to arrange wood and plastic parts within the available sheet. Cutter clearance, workholding and any grain direction requirements affect the layout. The achievable material yield depends on your parts and quantities; it is assessed with the machining requirements.
A practical route into production
Our Biesse CNC routing tables provide 5 × 10 ft and 5 × 12 ft capacity for sheet processing. Send the sheet size and finished part dimensions so we can confirm the setup. If your drawing is still being developed, our product design service can help prepare the next step.
